Wire

Several thicknesses are used depending on their function:

  • 2 mm. thick for the perimeter and cover sewing.
  • 2,4 and 3 mm. thick for the perimeter and cover lines.
  • 1.3 mm. thick to join the cover plastic and skirts.
  • 1,6 mm. thick to fix closings, normally used in flat roof greenhouses.
  • 2,2 mm. thick to cross join structural braids.
  • 3 mm. thick for the crop support lines.
  • 4,4 mm. thick to join braids to tubes.

Braid

Several wire amounts and thicknesses are used depending on their function:

  • 3 wires 3 mm. thick for anchors and structure.
  • 3 wires 3,8 mm. thick for the perimeter line.
  • 2 wires 2,5 mm. thick for free braids and crop support lines.
  • 2 wires 3 mm. thick for free braids and crop support lines.

Lace

Used in perimeter lines in Almería style greenhouses, mainly 8 mm. thick. It is also used 5 to 8 mm. thick in zig-zag greenhouses.

Unions

They join braids and laces.


There are different kinds depending on the King of braid or lace.

Retentions

They are used to hold the braids and laces to the perimeter tubes.
